Sabbath
It is said "more than Israel has kept Sabbath, Sabbath has kept Israel." In Exodus 35:1-3, it says: "Moses assembled the entire assembly of the children of Israel and said to them: 'These are the things that Hashem Commanded, to do them:' For six days melachah may be done, but the seventh day shall be Holy for you, a day of complete rest for Hashem; whoever does melachah on it shall be put to death. You shall not kindle fire in any of your dwelling places on the Sabbath day."
Sabbath is the beloved day of rest that begins Friday night at sundown and lasts until Saturday at sundown. In observing Sabbath the Jewish people are following the Torah. In Israel even foreign companies stop working on Sabbath. But nowhere Sabbath is felt as strongly as near the Jerusalem Western Wall.
